Snow Days and A Sad Superbowl

We're on snow day #3 of February and might even be out the rest of the week because of the cold. Sadly, real snow days are a thing of the past now that virtual learning is a thing. They still have to do school work at home! Work at home looks like zoom calls (for Jack lots and lots of zoom calls), lots of iPad time working on assignments and being forced to do workout videos with me, go on walks with me and do art projects with me. And, of course, video games with friends. Thank goodness for xBox and headsets.

We're still recovering from the sadness of the Super Bowl. We were so ready for a Chiefs victory, but it wasn't in the cards this year. 

Also of note in the last week, Nathan made Poppy a coat. She hates it. 

New Year's Eve 2020

New Year's Eve was pretty wild around here! Chocolate fondue and tons of games including Pie in the Face and watching the movie "Safety" helped us all stay up until midnight. 

We had snow a couple of days before New Years and it providing hours of fun outside. 

Christmas 2020

Christmas 2020, like the rest of 2020, was pretty weird. It was such a bummer not to see family, but we made the best of it! It was a disc golf Christmas. 

Nathan and I are watching an episode of The Office every night with Jack, so naturally he needed Dunder Mifflin socks. 

And everyone knows how important pickles are at the Lewis house. So Henry needed pickle socks. 

The best present of Christmas! We all know Nathan loves Poppy the most out of all of us.

A new ukulele for the master musician. 

And a waffle blanket to compliment Jack's tortilla blanket. 

Henry's quote of the year is, "I'm just going to finish this page." That's because he literally reads ALL THE TIME.

Henry's 10th Birthday

Henry is 10! We didn't know what his birthday would look like this year because of COVID... We were so glad his birthday had great weather so he could have three of his good buddies over to play nerf guns and jump on the trampoline. 

We also got to have an outdoor family party the day before his birthday. We had a campfire in the driveway, made s'mores and had hot chocolate. We also did family Christmas  after we were done with his birthday. 

Highlights of family Christmas presents included coffee mugs for Nathan, Dad and Will from Four Seasons Total Landscaping. Ha ha!
