Our Easter fun began with Henry’s preschool egg hunt. All the classes walked up the hill to William Jewell and hunted eggs there. Henry’s class made cute bunny ears to wear. He wore them for the rest of the week at home too.
On Palm Sunday weekend we dyed eggs and made chocolate birds’ nests.
Saturday of Easter weekend was very busy. First we went to our church egg hunt. It’s so fun – there are homemade cinnamon rolls, the Easter Bunny is there and we sing silly songs. Jack won a jar of jelly beans for his guess of how many candies were in the jar. He was just one off.
Then we walked up to hill to William Jewell and they found all sorts of eggs.
Next we went to an egg hunt at some friends’ house and then we went to another egg hunt and lunch with more friends. Lots of friends and egg hunts! On Easter Sunday we went to church and then down to Aunt Sherry’s for lunch and the egg hunt. Here are some of the cousins. It was a great weekend of fun and celebrating that Jesus is alive!
