Last Day of 3rd Grade

Henry is finally done with school! He was very excited to pick out props for his creative last day of school picture. He has his xBox controller and headset and his Calvin and Hobbes book, which he has read on repeat for the past 2 months.

Virtual learning was fine for the first 10 weeks, but these past 3 weeks have been pretty long. I am very proud of him for doing all of his assignments and getting everything done that he needed to do. And talk about turning into a book worm! He already liked books, but I really think he reads 2 hours a day now.

His teachers this year were Ms. Baker and Ms. Thompson and they were both really great. His class did all sorts of fun stuff this year and he will tell you his favorite part of school is recess. He is lucky to have several really good friends in his class. One he has known since he was born and the other since he was about 2 years old. He played flag football in the fall and basketball this winter.

Third grade was a year we will always remember. Next year he's officially a big kid at school because the 4th and 5th grade classrooms are by themselves in another hallway. His classroom has a huge see-through garage door they can close and lower depending on what they are doing.

Henry, you did it! Fingers crossed you are done with virtual learning and you will be back at good old EPiC in August.
