On Wednesday both boys had to get their blood drawn for some routine tests from their pediatrician. It was quite the production. They both realized what was going on before we even left and cried and carried on the whole way to Children's Mercy. Then they calmed down while we were there and it wan't too bad when they were getting their blood drawn. But poor Henry just fell apart about halfway home. He cried and cried and said his arm hurt. He even had to put his pillow on the other end of his crib at naptime so he didn't have to lay on his hurt arm. And then when Nathan got home, the mere thought of his traumatic morning and showing Daddy his arm reduced him to tears again.
