Beads, Bruders and Bathtime

We have had lots of cold days lately -- too cold for us to play outside. So we have become experts at Perler beads. The boys, especially Henry, love making creations out of these tiny beads. You place the beads on a pegboard in the design you want and then iron them to make them melt and stick together. Here's Henry with all of his bead creations. His favorites are the fall leaf, the sun and the slice of pizza.


We've also had lots of quality brother time lately, or "bruder" as Henry says. They do their fair share of fighting, but they are also best friends and love playing together.


They really like getting to take a bath together, not a common occurrence since lots of water usually ends up outside the bathtub.








This one changed out of his jammies last week and slept under his lego table in his swim trunks and swim shirt. He had just woken up in this picture and thought he was pretty funny.


Luke came over to play a couple of weeks ago. We always love spending time with him. And now little brother Landon is here! But Henry told me he's allergic to newborn babies -- they make his eyes water.
