Today Will arrived in Kansas City after 7 months in Iraq. We are so glad he is home and very proud of him. Jack made him a cake this morning and we had a party this afternoon after we picked him up at the airport with Grandma Pam, Grandpa Glen, Aunt Regina and Uncle Glenny. It wasn't anyone's birthday, but Jack is always up for blowing out candles and wearing party hats... because those two things always mean cake. We even made up a new song to sing before Will and Jack blew out the candles. It's called "Welcome Home Uncle Will" and it is very beautiful. The cake says, "Will is home yahoo." We were limited by the candy letters we had available!
We have two of Will's ties from when he was a little boy. They have been in Jack's closet for awhile but he discovered them the other day. He wore a tie for a couple of days straight. All he needs is a Dick Tracy watch and a proton pack and he'd be a mini-Will.
